Seeing the Connections

For the last few months, I have delved deeply into nutrition, mental health, holistic naturopathic healing, and herbalism. As a result I have come upon some not-so-surprising discovers.

As it turns out, there is a huge connection between mental health and nutrition. [Shocker, I know.]

The honest truth, we are currently very screwed.

I can’t believe how unhealthy we have become and how very ignorant the healthcare community is about this subject. People don’t even realize what they are doing. There is no understanding in the general populace about the health crisis we are facing.

Industry, unintentionally, is poisoning us. So much damage occurring, and yet, very few people listen or even know to listen.

There are plenty of doctors, naturopathic practitioners, journalists, and theorists sounding the alarm, but in the pursuit of cheaper options, the general populace and even our leaders are ignoring them, because it has become more important to have things than to appreciate what we have and to take the time to nurture it.

This, ultimately, is the culprit for the worsening mental and physical health of people in American and beyond.

I know people can see it. People are losing their minds (becoming aggressive, emotionally unstable, etc.). Physically, we are getting sicker with each generation (cancer, heart disease, etc. is only rising).

Society as a whole needs to detox from the frankinfoods and cheaply made materials with the abundance of toxic chemicals in order to cure its self of the insidious burnout we are all facing.

While we may be screwed right now, there is hope. We can change. We can cure this sickness.

I’ve created this site to embolden the discussion and bring to light all of the voices clamoring to be heard.

There as solutions. It can be fixed.
